Lockheed Martin’s F-35 Lightning II is a single-engine, single seater 5th Generation fighter developed with three distinct variants, each enjoying extremely low observability and excellent connectivity: the F-35A, F-35B and the F-35C - aircraft have been delivered since 2015. The F-35C has larger wings and horizontal and vertical stabilizers than other F-35 variants and folding wingtips in light of its carrier deployment design, as well as a larger fuel capacity and a reinforced nose landing gear with dual tires to help it withstand the punishment of carrier landings, plus a launch bar for catapult assisted takeoffs. Its low observability promises to give U.S. Navy operations a new dimension.


About the Model
This is a 1/48 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 327mm, wingspan: 273mm. ★The low observability design is faithfully depicted. ★Fine recreations of Radar Absorbent Material (RAM) are molded into fuselage surfaces. ★Separate assemblies of folded and extended wingtips can be interchanged after assembly. ★Choose deployed or retracted fuel probe. ★Flaps are depicted down for an accurate parked aircraft. ★The F-35C’s reinforced nose landing gear is recreated in style. ★Arresting hook doors are depicted open for a parked aircraft. ★Choose open or closed weapons bay doors. Parts are included for two each of AIM-9X and AIM-120C AMRAAM missiles, plus four GBU-12 and two GBU-31 bombs. ★The optional gun pod is also recreated with accuracy. ★Wheel chocks are included. ★The kit comes with a seated pilot figure, and 6 marking options plus canopy masking stickers for use in the paint job.


  • The larger wing and stabilizers are trademarks of the F-35C and are recreated accurately here.


  • All external parts are new aside from the canopy and ordnance. Drink in the complex form of the F-35C in 1/35 scale!


  • Flaps are depicted down for an accurate parked aircraft.


  • Folded wingtips are also depicted.


  • This model is 327mm long and has a wingspan of 273mm.


  • Air-to-air mode sees the F-35C equipped with air-to-air missiles. The model can also be built in stealth mode or beast mode.


  • The engine nozzle features crisp detailing.


  • A close-up on our accurate depiction of the reinforced nose landing gear, designed to take a launch bar and withstand punishing carrier landings.


  • Parts are included for folded and extended wingtip units, which can be interchanged after your model is finished.
